How to get?

By any of the airlines fly to the Palonegro international airport that serves the city of Bucaramanga, there a private transport will bring you to Barichara in just 3 hours. An interesting option is to divert to Mesa de los Santos and take the cable car from Panachi Park that crosses the imposing canyon of the Chicamocha River, at the other end, in the park, your transport will be waiting for you to continue the trip. It is a wonderful experience that will make the trip to Barichara shorter and more entertaining.

In private vehicle

From Bogotá you have two options, via Chiquinquirá or via Tunja, both routes take approximately 5 to 6 hours.

From your city of origin, arrive at San Gil, there at the bus terminal, go to Cotrasangil, a company that travels regularly to Barichara in medium but very safe buses. Another option is to hire a taxi to do this same route of approximately 20 Kms.
